I sewed up Know Me 2033 by the @handmademillennial and I used Minerva linen! I combined two different prints of linen, the Minerva Exclusive Enchanted Vision Linen Viscose Blend Fabric and the Minerva Exclusive Kaleidoscope Palms Linen Viscose Blend Fabric. I love how it turned out! Definitely an easy sew and something I’ll make again! Perfect for this summer weather!

What I love about this linen is that is is a viscose and linen blend. What makes this combination unique is that the texture is really lightweight and airy, perfect for the summer heat. It’s really breathable and yet still is able to hold it structure. It doesn’t matter if you want to make a shirt, dress, pants or anything else, it’s a really versatile fabric. What I also love about the fabric is that it doesn’t wrinkle like other linen fabrics do and I think this is due to the viscose blend! Linen and viscose are both sustainable materials and is another reason why I love using them so much. The fraying of the fabric is normal, nothing a serged edge won’t fix! I also really enjoy that the colors of the fabric are so vibrant! I used two different Minerva linen, the Minerva Exclusive Enchanted Vision Linen Viscose Blend Fabric and the Minerva Exclusive Kaleidoscope Palms Linen Viscose and each print is just as vibrant and colorful. If you’re looking for an easy, breezy and more importantly comfortable fabric to wear, this linen would be perfect!

Know Me Pattern 2033 is such an easy sew! I sewed it up in an afternoon! It was two different variations, I did the version without the sleeves! I love a sleeveless top! I think this would be a great sewing pattern for beginners as it covers a lot of the basics like using a straight stitch, understitching, matching notches and more. I like that the pattern has a wave pattern on the pants and the top. I used two different printed Minerva Linen, that are both very colorful and vibrant! They are different, but similar enough that the contrasting prints still make sense together! I definitely plan on making this pattern again and use a print and a solid next time or a really vibrant and cool ankara from Zesty Couture!
