Full Face Of Thread Beauty

For the past few weeks I have heard everyone and their mother talking about this brand Thread Beauty! I went to their Instagram and saw all of their beautiful products. The Tiffany blue packaging was so eye-catching. There were foundation sticks, eyes and cheek and even lipsticks. I was intrigued! Not only are they available online, but they were also available in Target! So the last time I was in Target I stopped in to the makeup section and sure enough there was Thread Beauty! I picked out a few of their complexion sticks because I wasn’t sure of the shade but I knew that I could use some for concealer and others for contour if they were too light or dark. I also picked up a few of the multi sticks which can be used on the eye and on the cheek as a highlight or a blush and I also picked up two of their lipsticks.  The brand is also extremely affordable with their complexion stick coming in at $8 along with their multi stick and color lipstick also coming in at $8. Thread Beauty is also cruelty free, vegan, female founded, and what really caught my attention was that it is Black owned. 

I did a full face using the products that I picked up. The first product that I used was their complexion stick in 170 Rich Brown Red. I used this as a concealer and I really love the coverage! It is super buildable from light to medium to full coverage which I appreciate. For my foundation I used 180 Rich Brown Cool. When I tell you this was a perfect shade match! I love that it is my skin but better. It leaves my skin with a skin like look and a bit of a glow. The stick is also really great because you can use it as a concealer, a contour, or a bronzer. It has a very soft and creamy texture.

Next are the Blend It Multi Sticks! These are great because you can use them as a one color eye look, on your cheeks as blush, or as a highlighter. I picked up the shades Peace, Outgoing, Fearless, Loyal, and Grateful. I used Grateful all over the lid and I used Fearless as a blush and Loyal as a highlight. Outgoing is a very pretty duo chrome along with Peace being a pink to gold shimmer. I love how sparkly Grateful is all over my lid and Fearless is such a pretty deep plum blush. Loyal gives an amazing highlight. Really lit from within glow!

Lastly I picked up their Color It Lipstick in Truth which is a dark brown and Fiery which is a bright red orange. For this make up look I used Truth because I really love a dark brown lip and I wanted to do something simple. This lipstick is so soft and so creamy. It is like butter on the lips! It was so easy to use to draw and then fill in my lips. And the color is very saturated and pigmented! It’s very pretty!

I am very excited to come up with more looks using these products and I am also very excited to try more of the blended multi sticks in more colors!
