NARS Light Reflecting Advanced Skincare Foundation
On a recent trip to Sephora to buy some of my beauty staples that I had ran out of, I noticed that NARS had a new foundation! This immediately caught my attention because NARS makes some of my favorite complexion products. Their radiant creamy concealer is one of my favorite concealers. So seeing this new foundation, which has advanced skin care in it, immediately drew me in. I like my foundations to be light to medium coverage, more of a skint tint. I like the finish to be my skin but better. I like it to even out my skin tone and add a bit of a glow. I am not into full, heavy coverage foundations. So reading the description of this foundation it seemed like it would be a perfect match! It is medium coverage, natural finish, and it has skin care in it that blurs and smooth and overtime, according to NARS, will improve your skins quality. It has ingredients that reduce the appearance of redness, add moisture, and negate the effects of blue light and the environment. My main struggle when it comes to my skin is dark spots and hyper pigmentation so any skin care that will help with that I am immediately interested in. The new Light Reflecting Advanced Skin Care foundation says to help with that so I got it!
After testing this foundation out for a week I can absolutely say that I am in love with it! It hits all the marks that I look for in a foundation; it’s medium coverage but it is buildable so I have worn one layer and it looks amazing and I have worn two layers and it still looks amazing, it looks like my skin but better. I have worn it with mattifying primers and glowy primers and it really adapts to whatever primer you are using underneath. On days where I want to be more matte I’ll use a mattifying primer and then days were I want to be really glowy, i’ll use primers like the ELF Jelly Pop Dew Primer. I find that it lasts all day.
I have combination skin but more oily. My oily areas do get oily throughout the day but that is normal with any foundation and with just a little bit of powder and a touchup it’s back to looking glowy and like it did when I first applied it. It really lasts all day and gives my skin this beautiful lit from within glow that I love. I highly recommend it!
