Coral Velvet Duster

This duster was such a fun project for me. I finally find myself with time on my hands and the freedom to create things for myself instead of just for my business. I’ve been wanting to create this velvet duster for a while now. I of course got the fabric from Joann Fabrics and Crafts and picked up a few more colors also (red, gold and green). I knew I wanted it to be longer sleeved and I knew I wanted to be able to belt it with matching material. The amazing thing about the duster pattern is the versatility it brings when wearing it. You can wear any of the dusters open, belted and closed, belted and opened and overlapped for a wrap dress look and feel. I knew that’s what I wanted with this duster. I wanted to be able to wear it casually or be able to wrap it into a dress and I’m very happy with the end results! I took these shots in the field by the house, my favorite place to shoot during golden hour and I had to take product shots of the new purses so decided to combine the photo shoots into one! I’ve added 3 new purses to the site; starry night, stained glass and Fos Strength. Each one really goes well with the velvet duster! I just paired the duster with my favorite Nubian Skin body suit and jeans and boots! A simple yet elevated look. Shop the bag collection here!
