African Print Maxi Dress

Another design inspired by Pinterest! I saw this gorgeous Valentino dress and fell in love with the silhouette; a black bandeau top and vibrant colored skirt. I decided to put my own spin on it. With fabric I got from Joann Fabric, I used a stretch knit black and a cotton African print for the skirt to create the really colorful maxi dress. I love the pleats at the top and how much movement it has. I drafted the pattern myself and it was super easy to create. I’m definitely going to be making more!
